Over the years DownLow has shared stages with The Pharcyde, Foreign Beggars, Beardyman, Mos Def, Dj Format, Master Ace, Blackalicious and De La Soul to name a few. 

 

Growing up in NW London, DownLow Spent his early years Dj'ing in clubs and pirate radio stations.

In 2010 he began competing in the DMC competition and represented the UK in the team category at the DMC World Finals in 2011.

 

Whilst spinning in a record shop in Brixton, DownLow met the rapper / musician 'Dizraeli' and ended up touring with his band 'Dizraeli & The Small Gods' for 6 years. Between shows he also found time to complete a Masters degree in Sound Design at The National Film & Television School. 

 

In 2012 they released their debut Album 'Moving In The Dark' which led to extensive radio play across the BBC networks and beyond. They proceeded to take their blend of Folk and Hip Hop to countless audiences all over the country. ​
